Producing more sustainable energy in the Netherlands leads to lower emissions and allows Dutch people to gain more "control" over their energy bills. This is according to Olof van der Gaag, chairman of the Dutch Association for Sustainable Energy (NVDE), in response to new expectations from the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL) regarding the development of greenhouse gas emissions and the energy system in the Netherlands.
