Damien Cassé, the opposition municipal councillor of Noisiel and former member of the French parliament, La France insoumise (LFI) Ersilia Soudais, was released for the second time by the court. After a complaint of rape dismissed in 2024, the politician was, this time, accused of moral harassment in the correctional court of Meaux.
The case of moral harassment involved the former life mate and militant engagement of the Member of Parliament for Seine-et-Marne. The verdict fell on Wednesday 11 June 2025.
According to Mediacités, in a judgment of February 2025, the court confirmed the responsibility of the association, the pillar of the reception of asylum seekers in Lyon, for the moral harassment suffered by a former deputy of the former director Jean-François Ploquin. The latter left the structure in July 2024.
