Suspects wanted in Perth, Ont. homicide may be in B.C., police say
On Sunday, the Ontario Provincial Police reported that two Ottawa murder suspects are likely hiding in British Columbia, with investigators believing 34-year-old Joseph Armand Madore is currently in the province.
Madore and 28-year-old Brayton Kennedy face second-degree murder charges in the death of 34-year-old Christo Allison Richards, who was found with life-threatening injuries in Perth's Last Duel Park on April 11.
Authorities stated Madore has known associations in Richmond, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and Terrace, while Kennedy may be traveling with him or potentially still located within the Ottawa area.
After issuing photos of the pair on May 3, police are urging anyone with information on their whereabouts to contact investigators immediately, cautioning the public not to approach the men if seen.
Investigators believe the homicide was a targeted incident rather than a random act, as the search continues to locate the suspects and bring them into custody for the April killing.
