Suspect to be sentenced for hatchet murder in Albuquerque hotel room

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A judge will sentence a woman convicted of killing a man with a hatchet in an Albuquerque hotel room back in 2023. Angel Salazar killed Ramon Martinez in a room at a Days Inn hotel near Central and I-25. Police found Martinez had been hit more than 80 times with the hatchet.
