Flydubai's co-pilot, Hamam al-Hammami, who is suspected of trying to take control of an aircraft on a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv, has been trained in the UK. In 2018-2019, according to The Telegraph, he studied at L3 Airline Academy, one of the largest British pilot training schools at that time.
The British newspaper Telegraph revealed that the Omani pilot accused of attempting to kidnap a passenger plane to Israel received his aviation training in Britain. Hamam Al-Hamami, 29 years old, suspected of planning to crash the plane in Tel Aviv, studied at one of the Kingdom's largest aviation schools between 2018 and 2019.
