Lafayette Dailey, 93, allegedly was stabbed to death by Coy Thomas, 53, on Dec. 3 at his home in North Philadelphia, investigators say. Thomas also is accused of stealing Dailey's wallet and car following the homicide. He has been charged with murder and related charges.
A Philadelphia man linked to the stabbing death of an older adult in the Nicetown neighborhood was arrested during the weekend. This is Coy Thomas who was under arrest for the death of Lafayette Dailey who was found lifeless inside his home on 4500 block of North 16th Street. The suspect faces charges of murder, possession of the instrument of crime, theft, and use of private property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, among other crimes.
