An 87-year-old Mount Pleasant man, Wayne Renning, is in custody after an investigation led to his arrest on multiple child pornography charges. The case began in February 2026 when the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Criminal Investigations Division (CID) received a tip about an individual uploading Child Sex Abuse Material (CSAM).
