Even before the vote on the inheritance tax, there is a noticeable uncertainty in Ob- and Nidwalden.
67 percent of the respondents rejected the referendum for an inheritance tax of 50 percent on assets over 50 million Swiss francs in favour of climate protection. 31 percent wanted to accept it and 2 percent were undecided.
The first poll on the federal votes on 30 November suggests a clear rejection of the Young Socialists' initiative calling for a tax on estates. Only the left is in favour of it. A very tight yes is emerging for the Citizens' Service initiative.
