Firefighters in Surrey were busy battling a fire at a laboratory Thursday evening. Around 8:30 p.m. Thursday (July 2), Surrey Fire Service crews responded to reports of a fire in the 12300-block of 88 Avenue and were met with black smoke showing from the roof area, a freelance photographer at the scene said.
