Surfside Beach still waiting on missing money investigation

Surfside Beach town administrator Gerry Vincent said the fate of the missing half a million dollars is still up in the air. Vincent told the town council Tuesday, July 14 the town was still waiting on a final SLED investigation into what happened to $545,000 that allegedly went to a bogus account instead of a contractor in North Carolina where it was intended.
