- Homeland Security has sought to terminate TPS for other groups, including more than 6,000 Syrians, alongside efforts to end protections for nationals from Honduras, Nepal, and South Sudan.
- The Supreme Court previously sided with the administration on TPS appeals involving Venezuela, indicating the court may continue to afford broad deference to the government's authority to cancel these designations.
