Support beyond the classroom: Little Rock’s community schools offer health care, therapy, a student bank and more | Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

At first glance, Chicot Elementary is just like any other school. But walk past the bright hallways plastered with crayon drawings and "I can count to 100" worksheets and through a gym lined with balance bikes, and you'll find clinics that provide vaccines, lab work, eye tests, counseling and language interpretation for Little Rock School District students and their siblings.
