Aaron Donald’s Return Spurs Heavy Action on Rams
Donald's return from retirement paired with the trade for Myles Garrett has strengthened the Rams' defensive line and shifted betting odds significantly in their favor.
On Sunday, Aaron Donald ended his retirement to rejoin the Los Angeles Rams, pairing with Myles Garrett and making the team +500 favorites to win Super Bowl LXI.
Speculation regarding Donald's return built for months after the Los Angeles Rams acquired Myles Garrett in an offseason trade, and Donald worked out with the team earlier this month.
Since the official announcement, the book reported that 22% of all bets and 30% of money wagered on this season's Super Bowl champion have backed the Los Angeles Rams.
The Los Angeles Rams are also +300 favorites to win the NFC Championship, with Super Bowl LXI set for their home field, SoFi Stadium, on Feb. 14, 2027.
Other teams remain in contention, including the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens , though betting on preseason favorites is historically a way to lose money.
