Sunshine the cat recovering from successful eye surgery

Sunshine is a 1-year-old cat who was rescued from a snowbank and was diagnosed with entropion, a condition that causes the eyelids to roll inward, rubbing against the cornea and leading to health complications, officials said. Sunshine underwent eye surgery on Feb. 12, performed by Dr. Jessica Price at the Clinton Pet Vet.
