In addition to Akira Schmid signing with the Florida Panthers, Cole Sillinger and Alex Jefferies also signed new contracts on Friday, meaning all fifteen of the restricted free agents that filed for arbitration received new deals without having to go to court. The Columbus Blue Jackets avoided arbitration by reaching an agreement with Sillinger on a three-year contract worth $13.875 million. Source
