The Istanbul Attorney General's Office in Turkey called for life imprisonment for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and 34 senior Israeli officials accused of genocide and a number of other crimes in a case that revolves around the impediment to passage to the Flotilla Sumud last year to bring humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, local daily Hürriyet reported on Saturday, April 11.
The indictment prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the armed attack on the Sumud Flotilla carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza has been completed.
