CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Cass County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to residence in the 25000 block of Morton Street for a man with a gun threatening a family member around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

A Lakeview man was arrested after allegedly assaulting his mother Tuesday evening, June 10 at their Holly Drive, Lakeview, residence. A 35-year old man was arrested after a domestic incident in Summerville over the past weekend. Patrick Smith was arrested and charged with Battery Family Violence Act (FVA) following an incident at a residence on Seventh Street, according to the Summerville Police Department.
