Summa Defence merges with the current listed company Meriaura Group.
Finnish defense company Summa Defence took the shortcut to the stock market by merging with Meriaura Group. Sven-Eric Holmström questions the valuation.
Summa Defence will be listed on the stock exchange by merging with Meriaura. Meriaura paid for the arrangement by allocating almost five billion shares to Summa Defence owners at a price of EUR 0.05 each. Meriaura's share price was EUR 0.13 on Tuesday.
The listing of the new Finnish defense group Summa Defence on the stock exchange received the final seal when the merger of Summa and Turku-based Meriaura Group was confirmed by the company's board of directors. The execution document regarding the share exchange was signed on Monday.
Meriaura Group and Summa Defence merged. The company's new CEO is Jussi Holopainen.
