The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has booked Kammari Nagesh, a private individual who acted as an intermediary along with Lagisetty Venkataswamy, a Grade-2 Sub-Registrar of Narayanpet district, for demanding a bribe of Rs 90,000 to complete the house registration process.
ACB DSP Balakrishna said that a criminal case has been registered against the Narayanpet Sub-Registrar. According to the details given by him, Lagisetty Venkataswamy, working as a Grade-2 Sub-Registrar in the Narayanpet Sub-Registrar's office, demanded a bribe of Rs. 90,000 from the complainant on July 18 in connection with the registration of a house.
