Study - Greenpeace: Persistent Damage Caused by U.S. Nuclear Tests in the Pacific

The Marshall Islands in the Pacific, with around 50,000 inhabitants, were the scene of 67 nuclear weapons tests by the USA in the 1940s and 1950s. According to a study commissioned by Greenpeace, the devastating effects of these tests on bikini and eniwetok atolls are still noticeable.
