Finally - the so-called eastern bypass of the Struma highway through the Kresne Gorge will have three lanes, not two as originally planned. This is clear from the approved technical project of the 28.5 km long section by the Road Infrastructure Agency (API). The price of the highway section will jump by 50%, so a kilometer of just one lane will cost 63 million leva, making it the most expensive highway in the Balkans.
