Stringer lifts Trojans to sweep of rival Columbia

For the first time in five years, West Marion swept Columbia in the annual two-game rivalry series to start the season, thanks to the efforts of Trojans senior Kolby Stringer. The superstar tossed 7 2/3 innings of one-hit baseball with 22 strikeouts to go along with four hits, a home run and 3 RBI in a Herculean effort.
