Stove Canyon Fire in western Garfield County reaches 20 acres
A wildland fire in western Garfield County that broke out Tuesday north of Ruby Lee Reservoir has officially been named the Stove Canyon Fire. The fire was reported on WatchDuty at 12:46 p.m., growing to 1.5 acres at 1:12 p.m. and then to 5.5 acres at 2:33 p.m. As of 3:35 p.m., the fire has grown to 20 acres. No evacuations have been ordered yet. The Post Independent will continue to update this story.
