‘Stop us if you can’: Karachi’s drug kingpin Pinky challenges authorities
Police said the suspect ran an organized cocaine network that served elite clients through female riders and online orders, with more than 800 alleged customers in Karachi.
- On Tuesday, Karachi police arrested alleged narcotics supplier Anmol alias Pinky during an intelligence-based operation in the Garden area, seizing a mobile drug laboratory and fully functional cocaine production unit.
- Investigators alleged that Pinky produced expensive "White Coke" and "Golden Coke" variants, managing more than 800 clients in Karachi through female riders and WhatsApp deliveries.
- Police recovered one kilogram of semi-prepared cocaine, more than 15 cocaine capsules, and an Austrian-made 9mm Glock pistol; South Deputy Inspector-General of Police Syed Asad Raza stated 14 cases are registered against the accused.
- Following viral footage of Pinky entering court without handcuffs, Karachi AIG Azad Khan suspended Garden Station House Officer Hanif Siyal and two other officers; Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar ordered a transparent inquiry.
- Authorities have directed investigators to complete probes into all related cases and submit a comprehensive report within 15 days, as Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar asserted the government will make no compromise on the rule of law.
