After a months-long search, Austrian police have arrested a Czech man who they say was stealing bicycles in the vicinity of Rohrbach in Upper Austria, near the border with South Bohemia. The Tips.at portal reported this on Saturday. The police have charged the man with a series of thefts involving damage worth more than 160,000 euros (3.9 million CZK).

An electric bicycle that was stolen in broad daylight outside an institution in Herøy on Wednesday was found and returned to its owner the same evening. The police have now opened a criminal case.
