STNF begins prescribed fires

Shasta-Trinity National Forest is planning prescribed fire operations, pending all required approvals. They estimate this work to continue through Friday, Nov. 14, as weather conditions allow. The Forest Service uses prescribed fires to help reduce overgrown vegetation to help protect local communities from wildfires.
