Steve Schallenkamp: Morningstar Run Under the Stars draws record turnout

The Morningstar Run Under the Stars (3.5 miles) on Saturday, August 30, in New Paltz, had a record turnout of 82 runners and 30 walkers. This grassroots event, organized by the LaPolt family with the cooperation of their neighbors, raised $1,600 for the St. Joseph’s Church food pantry in New Paltz.
