St. Albert council has finalized the 2026 tax rate bylaw, bumping up the taxation of residents up 3.8 per cent. The municipal resident mill rate is 8.39 per $1,000 of assessed home value, with the non-residential mill rate set to 13.39 per $1,000. Note that these numbers do not include the provincially set education property tax.
