STEPTOE, WA – Steptoe Butte State Park North of Colfax is now set to re-open at the end of the year. The popular butte has been closed since February’s flood. The Washington State Parks Department kept the site closed prior to scheduled repaving work which began in the spring. Crews have been repaving the road to the summit.
