Stephen Anthony Pflum, age 70, of Brookville, Indiana died Monday, June 15, 2026, at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, after suffering a heart attack at home on Saturday. Born October 8, 1955, in Batesville, Indiana he was the son of the late Charles M. ‘Chick’ & Marjorie M. (Gillman) Pflum.  On June 20, 1975, he was united in marriage to the former Diane Sizemore, and she survives. He retired from Owens Corning in Brookville after many years of service and also worked at Brook Hill Golf Course for several years. Steve was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church; the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1129 of Brookville, American Legion Post #77, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.  In his leisure time he enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and spending time with family & friends.

Stephen Anthony Pflum, age 70, of Brookville, Indiana died Monday, June 15, 2026, at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, after suffering a heart attack at home on Saturday. Born October 8, 1955, in Batesville, Indiana he was the son of the late Charles M. ‘Chick’ & Marjorie M. (Gillman) Pflum.  On June 20, 1975, he was united in marriage to the former Diane Sizemore, and she survives. Besides Diane, his loving wife of 51 years, survivors include two children, Stephanie Pflum, Derrick (Molly) Pflum, all of Brookville; four grandchildren, Justin Ison, Sammy (Dani) Ison, Sydney Ison, Vayla Pflum; three great-grandchildren, Carter, Braxton, Callie; two sisters, Sherry Sauerland and Debbie Beesley both of Brookville, Indiana. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by twin sons, Phillip Pflum & James Pflum; four brothers, Richard Pflum, Michael Pflum, James Pflum, Martin Pflum; two brothers-in-law, Mike Sauerland & Richard Beesley. Family & friends may visit from 4 until 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville. Rev. Santhosh Yohannan will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, June 22, 2026, 10:30 A.M., at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 145 St. Michael’s Blvd., Brookville.  Burial will then follow in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Brookville. Memorial contributions may be directed to FC CAN (Franklin County Cancer Assistance Now).
