Valve Keeps Widening the SteamOS Net, and More Handhelds Are Finally Getting Caught

- This weekend's release includes "initial gamepad support" for recent handhelds and "improved support" for older MSI Claw devices, while bundling Steam Machine Firmware 108 to resolve sleep-related bugs.
- Valve also updated the Linux driver for the Steam Controller, allowing it to work with "native controller applications" even when Steam is not actively running.
- Currently available through Beta and Preview channels, SteamOS 3.8.25 remains in testing, with Valve noting a known performance issue when composition is required that was resolved in the 3.8.16 stable release.
