In a Reddit branch yesterday, Valve herself through her Steam account on the forum unveiled the problem faced by millions of users around the planet with PayPal. And that’s because the two companies have a lot of discrepancies with payment platforms, because Elon Musk’s former company can’t work with some banks, which brand Steam as “high risk.”
Paypal supports Steam payments only in six currencies. Reason is the termination by Paypal's payment process. Valve checks alternatives, a time frame for the return of additional currencies is currently unknown.
Due to the cessation of PayPal's acquiring bank services, Steam only supports purchasing games in Euros, US dollars, British pounds, Canadian dollars, Australian dollars and Japanese yen; users need to use credit cards that support these currencies or recharge Steam wallets to purchase.
