The thieving asylum seeker who was shot by a police officer in the Hema in Ter Apel last June, will be released today and will leave our country. The judge will give him a sentence equal to his pre-trial detention.
The Nigerian asylum seeker who was shot by police in a Hema store in Ter Apel last June was released on Tuesday, De Telegraaf reports. The judge sentenced him to the same amount of time he had already spent in custody. The man is leaving the Netherlands and is first travelling to Germany, after which he wants to return to Nigeria.
