Companies in Slovenia generated 7.34 billion euros in net profit last year, which is 13 percent more nominally and 10 percent more in real terms than the year before. All areas of activity reported net profit, AJPES notes.

Slovenian businesses increased their profits last year with upward trends recorded across all sectors. Net value added per employee rose by 2% in real terms in what is a promising sign, but there is still room for improvement.
