The first of two asylum flats floating on pontoons at the Gerrit Bolkade in Zaandam is almost full. There is room for 664 people on the Renaissance. A handful of people are constantly going in and out of the reception location, but almost all the places are filled, according to the local spokesperson of the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA).
