States Urge Inflation Adjustment in Hospital Financing – Deutsches Ärzteblatt

Berlin – The federal states are demanding more funding for the implementation of the hospital reform passed last year. Specifically, they want inflation adjustment for 2022 and 2023 to offset cost increases. In addition, the federal government is to provide additional funding for a transitional period until the reform takes effect.
