Sick Thai Princess Suffers ‘Severe’ Blood Infection

The palace said on Friday that Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati has been gravely ill in hospital for over two years and suffered a `severe` blood infection.
Since December 15, 2022, Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati has been hospitalized at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Bangkok, after passing out during training in Pak Chong district.
Royal doctors, medical team providing ongoing care, continue using equipment to support her lung and kidney functions, the Royal Household Bureau said on Friday.
From Aug 9, 2025, the medical team detected a severe infection in the bloodstream and administered antibiotics and medication to stimulate blood pressure.
Looking ahead, doctors will continue to monitor her condition and provide treatment, marking the fourth update since Jan 8, 2023.
