State Senate Democrats hope to tackle the mental health crisis with a package of bills

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — A set of five plans crafted by State Senate Democrats hope to alleviate some of the struggles many Illinoisan face when it comes to mental health care.

According to the ARC Rynek i Opinia study commissioned by the Healthy Progress Foundation, half of Poles notice publications in social media suggesting that the person they are following is going through a mental crisis. However, as many as 61% of people do not know how to react to such a crisis.
