NEW BRITAIN – When Taylor Jackson won the State Open long jump title Saturday, she was a little surprised. Jackson, a Bloomfield High senior, jumped a half-inch further than her teammate Vanessa Agyemang to win the event with a jump of 18 feet, 5 1/2 inches.
