BERLIN (Reuters) - German Chancellor Friedrich Merz spoke with U.S. President Donald Trump on the phone on Thursday about arms deliveries to Ukraine, a spokesperson for the German leaders told Reuters.
The verification of the quantity of arms stocks, after which the Pentagon decided to suspend supplies to Ukraine, did not in fact reveal a critical shortage in the United States, as NBC News reports with reference to sources.
