- The platform emerged from the founders' tech and bar industry experience and authenticates, digitizes, stores, and auctions bottles nationwide.
- Each auction moves between four and six thousand bottles, bringing in sales ranging from $1.2 million up to $2 million, featuring a wide selection from budget-friendly spirits to exceptionally rare bourbons valued at as much as $150,000.
- More than 100,000 customers have traded on Unicorn, which has raised $5.8 million from venture capitalists, NBA players, and collectors and remains profitable and fast-growing.
- Collectors like 74-year-old Robert Drousth, who accumulated bottles without intent to sell, use Unicorn to convert aged collections into significant financial returns.
