Holiday season is stowage time: Since on weekends apart from Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, students in all federal states are freed, travellers on German motorways have to bring patience on weekends.
From now on, the holidays will start in Berlin, Brandenburg, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Schleswig-Holstein. Chaos and traffic jams on the motorways are therefore to be expected.
Summer holidays start on the weekend in five German federal states. There are traffic jams and delays on the domestic roads.
If you start your summer holiday today or on the weekend, you have to prepare yourself for traffic jams in many places, says the ADAC. Because from today, a total of 14 federal states have holidays – this is likely to be particularly noticeable on the routes in particularly popular holiday countries and regions.
Almost all the federal states are on summer holidays from this weekend. On the streets it should be full. A blocking should provide for restrictions. Where could it get annoying?
