Stark County Park Board approves bid for repairs of Southwest Speedway

DICKINSON — The Southwest Speedway is here to stay. The Stark County Park Board voted 4-1 during a special meeting on Feb. 19 to approve a $230,000 bid to help repair the Southwest Speedway. County Commissioner Neal Messer was the lone dissenter. The approved bid will allow Tooz Construction Company to complete fencing and other repairs along the track.
