For months Werder hoped to tie Cameron Puertas (28) to the club again and most of all to the club. But it became nothing. Now he has a new club.
Werder wanted to bring Puertas back. Speaking to the Deichstube, Werder's director of professional football, Peter Niemeyer, explained that the club valued Puertas and would have liked to work with him again. However, a permanent transfer was not possible for Bremen.
