Stanford Acknowledges AI-Edited Dining Photo Violated University Policy

- Ramirez told The Review he was initially "baffled" by the alteration, saying "I found it hilarious" at first but later felt "silenced and erased" by Stanford's choices about his representation.
- Stanford spokesperson Charlene Gage confirmed the banners were removed and stated the university is providing staff training to ensure proper review of materials, as AI use in promotional imagery remains strictly prohibited.
