After the fourth round of collective bargaining negotiations for the non-medical staff of the religious order hospitals in Upper Austria failed to produce a result, the vida union has now announced a demonstration on January 12th in front of the provincial government building.
The fourth round of negotiations between the Hospitallers of the Order of Austria and the Vida trade union on 8 December did not bring about any agreement. So there is no further KV degree for the non-medical personnel of the Hospitals of the Order in Linz, Wels-Grieskirchen, Braunau and Ried. The workers demand an inflation compensation and the gradual introduction of a 35-hour week. Employers' representatives call this demand "not realistic". …
