At the challenging giant slalom in Adelboden, Žan Kranjec lost seven places in the final and finished 14th. For the fourth time in a row, Marco Odermatt celebrated at this venue.

At the Swiss giant slalom festival in Adelboden, the Austrian ski team was once again left without a podium finish in a technical race. Marco Odermatt claimed his fourth win in a row at Chuenisbärgli on Sunday, intercepting his compatriot Loic Meillard, who had led at halftime. Italian Luca de Aliprandini finished third, who catapulted himself forward from twelfth place. Marco Schwarz was ninth as the best Austrian.

Swiss Marco Odermatt won the Alpine Skiing World Cup giant slalom for the fourth time in a row in Adelboden. Slovenian ace Žan Kranjec (+2.71) secured the seventh starting position for the attack, but he did not succeed on the second run. He finished in 14th place. After a mistake before the famous turning point, he saved himself with an acrobatic effort, but remained without the desired success.

In Adelboden, we also watched the World Cup giant slalom, which brought the most joy to the home fans. Marco Odermatt won ahead of Loic Melliardo, while the Italian Luca de Aliprandini finished on the lowest podium. The only Slovenian representative, Žan Kranjec, was seventh after the first run, but in the final, he wasted his new top ranking with a few mistakes on the course and finished 14th.
