The Corruption Prevention Commission (KPK) has found a conflict of interest violation by the mayor of the Municipality of Udine, Brane Kolednik. Kolednik enabled his sister to be placed in a higher salary bracket by deciding on her job, the KPK said in a press release. The commission issued a fine of 400 euros to the mayor in the case.
