The 13th round of China-EU High-Level Strategic Dialogue, co-chaired by European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas and visiting Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Brussels this week, provides the two sides with an opportunity to hold face-to-face communication at a critical juncture of bilateral ties.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, currently on a tour of Europe, met with the presidents of the European Commission and the European Council today. This was followed by talks between delegations led by Wang and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas. The meetings are aimed, among other things, at preparing for the EU-China summit to be held at the end of July.
