Lee-Scott girls fall to Saint James

BY ROB DAVIS  A historic season for the Lee-Scott Academy girls basketball team came to an end on Wednesday with an 85-18 loss to perennial power Saint James School at the AHSAA 3A Central Regionals held at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome on the campus of Alabama State University in Montgomery.      It was the first trip ever to the regionals for the Warriors girls basketball program which finished the season with a 20-10 record. St. James defeats Lee-Scott in Central Regional

The St. James Trojans defeated Lee-Scott 85-18 to stay alive in the AHSAA Basketball Post Season. St. James was led in the their win by Kaitlin Mitchell with 21 points. The Trojans improve to 30-4 on the season. Categories: High School, Sports
